Balloon kit FAQ

Questions, answered

What's included in my kit?

Professional-grade latex balloons in three sizes (5", 12", and 17"), three 260 balloons for hanging, rubber bands for assembly, 3 wall hooks, and a QR code that links to our step-by-step how-to video.

Do I need a balloon pump?

Yes. A pump isn't included, and we strongly recommend an electric balloon pump. It makes inflating go fast. A hand pump works too, it just takes longer. We don't recommend blowing them up by mouth.

Do I need helium?

No. Your garland is air-filled and hangs on the included wall hooks, so no helium is needed.

How long does it take to build?

Most first-timers should plan on about 1 to 2 hours, including inflating. The how-to video walks you through every step, so no experience is needed.

Can I make it the day before?

Yes. Building it the day before is fine. Keep it indoors somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight until your event. For the shiniest look, build it as close to the party as you can.

How long will my garland last?

Indoors and out of the sun, an air-filled garland typically looks great for several days. Outdoors, heat and direct sun shorten that a lot, sometimes to just a few hours in Texas summer sun. If you're hanging it outside, set it up close to party time and keep it in the shade. Over time balloons naturally lose some shine and take on a softer, matte look.

Where can I hang it?

Walls, doorways, backdrops, mantels, and stair railings all work. Use the included wall hooks, or tie the 260 balloons around a railing, banister, or table leg.

Can I add foil balloons?

Yes. Foil balloons are an optional add-on for $5 each. Choose 1 or 2 when you add your kit to cart.

How fast will my kit arrive?

Every kit ships free and goes out within 48 hours. We recommend ordering at least a week before your event so it arrives with time to spare.

Is it safe for kids?

Children under 8 can choke or suffocate on uninflated or broken balloons. Adult supervision is required, and broken balloons should be thrown away right away.
